7th pay commission latest news: Central employees received DA’s gift in July. But, this gift was incomplete. Employees received stalled inflation allowance (Dearness allowance) from the last 18 months (January 2020 – June 2021). But, the government did not give these 18 months of arrears. Since the DA’s announcement, union employees have been continuously demanding arrears (Dearness allowance). Meanwhile, the pensioners are also going to sit on September 7 for the 18-month-old Darness relieve arrears.

The meeting between the National Council of JCM, the Department of Personal and Tranig (DoPT) and the Ministry of Finance (Finance Minister) on 26-27 June also discussed the arrears. However, Cabinet Sacratri did not respond to this. At the same time, DA was announced in the cabinet but no talk was made on the arrears.
Meanwhile, in the monsoon session of Parliament, the government made it clear that arrears would not be given. But, employee unions are demanding this continuously and trying to pressure the government. If the central employees get a hefty dues of DA under the 7th Pay Commission (7th CPC), it will be a huge amount.

According to Shiva Gopal Mishra of the National Council of JCM, the DA arrear of Level-1 employees ranges between Rs 11,880 and Rs 37,554. At the same time, DA arrears in the hands of an employee from Rs 1,44,200 to 2,15,900 if calculated for Level-13 (7th CPC Basic Pay-Scale 1,23,100 rupees) or Level-14 (Pay-Scale). How much DA arrears will be made from January to June 2020?
Central employees whose minimum grade pay is 1800 rupees (level-1 basic pay scale range 18000 to 56900) awaiting 4320 rupees [{4 per cent of 18000} X 6]. Central employees will receive DA arrears of 3,240 rupees [{3 per cent of 18,000} x6] from July to December 2020 on minimum grade pay under the 7th Pay Commission. At the same time, if you calculate DA arrears between January and July 2021, there will be 4,320 [{4 per cent} x6 of 18,000 rupees]. DA was 15 percent connected
This means a central employee, with a minimum basic salary of 18000 rupees, will get 11,880 rupees as DA arrear (Rs 4320+3240+4320). If the minimum wage is 18000 rupees according to the pay-matrix of the central employees and it is expected to add 15 per cent inflation allowance. In this sense, 2700 rupees a month will be directly added to the salary.

DA will increase by 3 percent

On an annual basis, if you look, the total inflation allowance has increased by 32400 rupees. Actually, the inflation allowance of June 2021 is also to be announced. If AICP figures are to be considered, it is estimated to increase by 3 percent. If this happens, DA will soon increase to 31 per cent for central employees. It will also be paid by the end of the year.
