Afghanistan’s Armed rebel forces killed 40 Taliban militants and recaptured three districts from Taliban’s control. Pol-e-Hesar, Deh Salah and Banu districts in Afghanistan’s Baghlan were recaptured from Taliban by the Public’s Resistance Forces under Khair Muhammad Andarabi, the force claimed.

Former defense minister, Bismillah Muhammadi tweeted, “Resisting the Taliban terrorists is our duty #Pul-e-Hesar, Deh Salah and Banu districts have been occupied by the resistance forces. Resistance is still alive.” Bismillah is residing in Panjsheer province which is the only region not under the control of the Taliban groups.

With 40 Taliban fighters being killed, 15 others were injured and Taliban is yet to give any statement on the matter. Earlier, a curfew was imposed in Kabul by the Taliban groups ordering the residents to not leave their homes after 9PM apart from any emergency case. The Taliban group frightened the Afghanistan’s residents after President Ashraf Ghani left the country and Taliban took over the presidential palace.

As per reports, Taliban and Afghanistan leaders are involved in talks over forming the government and filling the power vacuum.
