Actress-singer Jada Pinkett Smith shared the post on social media and wrote, “It’s healing season and I’m here for it.” Jada had earlier shared some photos and videos of Oscar Ceremony. In which his Husband Will is getting the Best Actor Award. But, he did not say anything about the ‘slap controversy’. In such a situation, the fans are speculating that they have done this post only for that incident.
Mother said – I have never seen him doing this before
Apart from Jada, Will Smith’s mother Caroline Bright has also reacted to the slap controversy. He said, “Will is a very calm and friendly person. That was the first time I saw him lose his cool. For the first time in his life… I’ve never seen him do this before.”
Will publicly apologizes to Chris Rock by sharing the post
Earlier, after ‘Slap Controversy’, Will Smith shared a post on social media and publicly apologized to Chris Rock, Academy, show makers and everyone. He shared the post and wrote, “Violence in all its forms is toxic and destructive. My behavior at last night’s Academy Awards deserves no apology. Pranking me is a part of the job, but about Jada’s medical condition.” I couldn’t bear the joke and I reacted emotionally. I want to apologize publicly to you, Chris. I went overboard and I was wrong.”
Will further wrote in the post, “I am ashamed and this behavior has created an image of me that I am not. Violence has no place in the world of love and kindness. I am the Academy, the makers of the show, I would like to apologize to everyone in attendance and everyone watching around the world. I want to apologize to the Williams family and my King Richard family. I am deeply sorry that my behavior has spoiled this beautiful journey for all of us.”
Will slaps Chris for making fun of his wife’s baldness
Actually, comedian Chris Rock, who came on stage during the 94th Oscar Awards Ceremony, joked about the baldness of Will Smith’s wife Jada. Will didn’t like Chris’ joke about his wife. After which Will got up from his seat and went to the stage and slapped Chris vigorously in the crowded gathering. Because of this, Chris remained stunned for a while. Along with him, the people present in the ceremony were also stunned. Then later Will gave a warning to Rock saying that never bring my wife’s name on your tongue again. After this, Chris also realized his mistake and apologized and said that he would never do this. Later, Smith also apologized to Chris.
Jada had her hair cut due to this disease
Will Smith has also received the Best Actor Award for his film ‘King Richards’ in the ceremony. But, before receiving the award, he had this fight with host Chris Rock. Actually, host Chris was commenting on the hair of Will’s wife Jada Pinkett Smith on stage, the same thing made the actor feel bad and he lost his cool. Chris commented on Jada’s baldness. He said that he was cast in the film ‘GI, Jane’ because of his baldness. Whereas, Jada did not cut her hair for the film. Actually, she is battling with alopecia disease, due to which the hair completely disappears from place to place in the head. That’s why he got his hair cut.
