DU to be opened from second week of September


Delhi University to reopen in a phased way from next week, stated senior officers on Thursday.

Dean of Social Welfare (DU) Rajeev Gupta, stated: “We are presently running at the modalities after protecting a assembly with principals and heads of departments. Hopefully from next week, we can be capable of reopen the campus. Third-year students gets first preference.”

According to officials, the colleges will re-open for third-year students in science streams and people that require laboratories for practicals.

Mr. Gupta explained: “First desire for offline classes could be given to third-year college students. It will consist of students from science streams and different guides wherein practical work is concerned and laboratories are required. It can consist of guides like psychology, mathematics, linguistics and so on. Preference will be given to courses which require hands-on experience.”

While attending offline classes will be “voluntary,” officials stated outstation college students are probably to be known as from the second one week of September.
