Alia Bhatt in Gangubai Kathiawadi is ruling the screen by her role as matriarch of Kamathipura, to be released in theatres on 25th February.

The trailer for Gangubai Kathiawadi has been released. It follows Alia Bhatt in the titular role as she grows up in Kamathipura as a sex worker. Alia Bhatt leaves a lasting impression in the three-minute trailer released on YouTube, which depicts her path as a matriarch and brothel owner. The movie is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. It gives us an insight into not only a sex worker’s life but also her fight for the lives of sex workers and their children.

In the teaser, Ajay Devgn is also seen playing mafia don, Karim Lala. A guy of notoriety and mythology who played a pivotal role in Gangubai’s journey (for better or worse). Social Media Reaction: Veteran actor Neetu Kapoor was among the first to compliment Alia when the Gangubai Kathiawadi teaser was released. She posted the trailer to her Instagram Stories and captioned it, “Ufffff fantastic,” with starry-eyed and rising hands emojis, indicating she’s rooting for her. Ranbir Kapoor, currently Alia’s boyfriend, was spotted in the city following the trailer’s release and was asked to comment on it. The actor just raised his folded hands in a Gangubai-style namaste. Alia posted the trailer to her social media accounts with the phrase “Gangubai Zindabad.” “as well as a half-moon emoji Many of her followers and friends praised her in the comments area. “Aliaaaaaa”. Many others stated that they “can’t wait” to see the film. “What a trailer,” one fan exclaimed “You slayed it, queen!” exclaimed another.

The real story of Gangubai Kathiawadi: Gangubai Kathiwadi, the famed Mafia Queen, was born into a prominent family in Kathiawad, Gujarat. Her real name was Ganga Harjivandas. She aspired to be a Bollywood performer since she was a child and wanted to move to Mumbai to pursue her ambitions. Ganga and Ramnik Lal are said to have married after leaving their home in Mumbai. However, Ramnik then tricked her and sold her for Rs. 500 to a brothel. This betrayal killed Ganga, but it was the beginning of her new life as Gangubai. She became a prostitute and began living in Mumbai’s red-light district. Her adventurous journey from betrayal to a Boss Lady will be seen in the film.
