The month of September has started with the tinge of inflation. Government oil companies have once again increased the prices of domestic LPG cylinders. Domestic gas prices have increased by Rs 25 from today. With this, now the price of 14.2 kg LPG cylinder in Delhi has increased to Rs 884.50. Within 15 days, the non-subsidized LPG cylinder has become costlier by Rs 50. Earlier, on August 18, petroleum companies had increased the prices of gas cylinders by Rs 25. In July also, the prices of cylinders had increased. The price of 19 kg commercial gas cylinder has increased by Rs 75.
Talking about the 19 kg commercial gas cylinder, its price in Delhi is Rs 1693. The price is Rs 1772 in Kolkata, Rs 1,649 in Mumbai and Rs 1,831 per cylinder in Chennai.
In which city how much was the price of cylinder:-
Now a 14.2 kg LPG cylinder has become Rs 884.5 in Delhi. Before the price hike, it was getting Rs 859.50 in Delhi. In Kolkata, now a 14.2 kg LPG cylinder has become Rs 911, which was earlier Rs 886. Its price has gone up to Rs 884.5 in Mumbai and Rs 900.5 in Chennai, which was earlier Rs 859.50 and Rs 875. Earlier on August 18, the price of LPG cylinder was increased by Rs 25.50.
How much did the price increase this year:-
In January this year in Delhi, the price of LPG cylinder was Rs 694, which has now become Rs 884.50. That is, this year the prices of cylinders have increased by about Rs 190.50. In February, cylinder prices were increased three times. In March 2021, its price had gone up to Rs 819. There was no change in the price of cylinders in May and June.
