Randhir Thakur, the Intel Corp’s chief supply officer and head of chip business was signed by Tata group as its director at subsidiary Tata Electronics Ltd. as the Tata group seems to enter into chip manufacturing, the basis of modern technology.
In March, Thakur is an expert at semiconductor industry was entrusted by Intel’s chief executive Pat Gelsinger to head the chipmaker’s standalone foundry business. According to the people familiar with company’s development, Tata electronics is aiming to gain expertise at designing and manufacturing chips.
