Etawah. we all live on the planet called earth. We share it equally with other living beings. Earth is the only planet where life is possible. But will it be possible in the future is the major question that arise nowadays. John Sawhill once said “A society is not defined by what it creates but by what it refuses to destroy.”
Human beings are the best creation of God. We are blessed with the ability to think and use our minds in order to grow. But because of our selfishness, our greed to acquire more and more, we have disturbed the planet earth in such a way, that it has become imbalanced in several ways.
Now the destruction that has been done needs to be compensated in some or the other way. One such step in this regard is to make recycling mandatory, in order to help the environment.
We have seen that after the use of certain things, we throw them as waste materials. Once, the usage is done, it losses its value. But we forget one thing, that there are several waste materials that can be recycled and could be brought back once again to use. That will not only help the environment in a possible way but will also help to reduce pollution caused by waste.
Pollution is nothing but the resources we are harvesting we allow them to be dispersed because we have been ignorant of their value. Thus said by R. Buckminster Fuller “Recycling reduces the need for raw materials, so that the rainforests can be preserved. Recycling requires less energy, uses fewer natural resources and keeps waste from piling up in landfills.”
The more we recycle, the less we need to mine.
Recycling is just like food for economy. It will not only provide the raw materials to the industry but will also provide employment to several people worldwide. Thus it will definitely help boost up the things in all the possible ways. Consuming less means throwing away less, while reusing things will definitely help to save the planet as well as money.
So if we want to live a life free from diseases, then we should make recycling mandatory. Then only we shall be breathing fresh air as well as
we shall leave a fresh, healthy and stable environment for the coming generations. If recycling is the future, then we must focus our effects on mitigating the negative impacts to our community while protecting our environment At last I would like to wind up my words by saying “recycle today for a better tomorrow”.
