Mobile dispensers are been launched by Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited in Mumbai to deliver fuel at door steps of the consumers. With the growing demand of fuel, 15 mobile browsers and 9 Jerry can facilitate the consumers in different corners of the Eastern Region. The company claimed that ‘Door to door delivery through mobile dispensers has resulted in commissioning of 1588 FuelKarts and 129 FuelEnts over the past two years across industry and Pan India. The company has already launched a total of 63 mobile dispensers serving in West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha and North East states.

Ravi, executive director, retail in-charge at BPCL stated, “Our FuelKart proposition of doorstep diesel delivery through state-of-the-art mobile dispensers come with the same Pure for Sure assurance backed by latest electronic dispensing and geo-fencing technology and offers complete peace of mind to our customers who need diesel for their stationary equipment and heavy vehicles.”
The company said, “The initiative will also go a long way in creating new business avenues and job opportunities for the young entrepreneurs of the eastern region.” Along with BPCL, Reliance BP Mobility Ltd, UK’s energy major BP Plc and Nayara Energy are also giving away the delivery of fuel at doorsteps. Repos Energy, Pepfuels, MyPetrolPump, FuelBuddy and Humsafar are some startups that have already implemented at providing fuel delivery.
