Comedy Premium League, Netflix’s new Comedy series will premiere on August 2. The new Netflix series produced by OML Entertainment will have Prajakta Koli as its host starring Aadar Malik, Aakash Gupta, Amit Tandon, Kaneez Surka, Kenny Sebastian, Mallika Dua, Prashasti Singh, Rahul Dua, Rahul Subramanian, Rohan Joshi, Rytasha Rathore, Samay Raina, Sumaira Shaikh, Sumukhi Suresh, Tanmay Bhat and Urooj Ashfaq as the shows comedians. The comedy formats that the Netflix show have, will be improvisation, skit, stand-ups, punchlines, presentation comedy and roast.
Netflix earlier in 2021 announced to bring in 40 Indian originals in quest to expand its slate by about three times across language and genres as in 2020. Netflix and Amazon are the two leading OTT platforms in the country commanding 14% and 7% subscribers, where Disney Hotstar makes it to stand third with 34 million subscribers.
Recently, miniTV has been announced by the Amazon Prime Video’s free video entertainment service. This service by Amazon will line-up for comic sketch curated content with creators like Ashish Chanchlani, Prajakta Koli, Amit Bhadana, Dolly Singh, Saloni Gaur and Be YouNick.
