As in case of the Dalit minor rape, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi went to meet the victim’s family for condolence and support in path to justice. In his tweet he wrote, “The tears of her mother and father say just one thing-their daughter, the country’s daughter, deserves justice. And I am with them in this path to justice,” along which he posted a picture of the victim’s parents. In regards of posting the picture of victim’s parents, the National Commission Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) issued a notice to Twitter against Rahul Gandhi for exploiting the guidelines of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POSCO) Act urging Twitter to take action against him.
A 9-year old Dalit girl was raped and burned by the accusers, Radhey Shyam(55), Kuldeep Kumar(63), Laxmi Narain(48) and Mohd Salim(49) who were arrested on Monday. Reportedly, the Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) has started with the enquiry where the family claimed that the girl was raped and forcibly cremated by the crematorium priest, Radhey Shyam who tried to astray the family saying that she was electrocuted.
