Despite the situation of war with Ukraine, the reason for the ineffectiveness of the shootings in Russia, Sarfaraz expresses that the shootings in Russia are taking place in such areas, which are far from the borders of Ukraine. This is the reason why the shooting has not been affected. Till February 12, Mrunal Thakur and Rashmika Mandanna were also doing a Telugu project in Russia.

Both Bollywood and Tollywood projects are being shot in Russia
Bhumi recently wrapped up the shooting of ‘Bhakk’. Arjun Kapoor is also set to start shooting for the remake of Malayalam film ‘Ayyapanam Koshiyum’ with John Abraham in Uttarakhand. The remaining parts of ‘Ganpat’ will also be shot in Russia
Those close to Vikas Bahl also corroborate the claims of ineffective shootings in Russia. He says, “The team had returned to India only on December 27 last year in London due to increasing Kovid cases. The shooting was to be held there till January 7. So the portions of ‘Ganpat’ that could not be shot in London were sent to Russia. Will be shot in Mumbai. For this location recce is being done there too. The team can move there by the end of March. Currently the shooting of this film is commencing from March 05 in Mumbai.”

Shooting for ‘Runway 34’ was done in nightclubs and streets of Russia
Ajay Devgn and Karan Johar’s banner films were also shot in Russia last year. Sources close to his production house say, “Ajay’s banner’s ‘Runway 34’ airport plane scenes were shot at the Moscow airport. Apart from this, important scenes of the film were also shot in the nightclubs and streets there. Ajay and The rest of the cast and crew of the film shot there for 10 days. In fact, the scenes which were supposed to happen at Qatar airport could not happen due to the lockdown. So the team filmed those sequences in Russia.
