The screen count for the film was increased to 4000 in the second week
Box Office: Actor Anupam Kher starrer ‘The Kashmir Files’ is continuously breaking records at the box office. Directed by Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri, this film narrates the pain of Kashmiri Pandits. Released in theaters on March 11, the film has collected around Rs 10 crore on the fifth day of the second week. At the same time, the film has done a business of about Rs 190 crore in 12 days so far. According to trade analysts, this film will also cross the 200 crore mark in the next 1-2 days.
Taran Adarsh shared the post on social media and said that the film has made a box office collection of Rs 10.25 crore in India on the fifth day of the second week i.e. on the 12th day (Tuesday). Earlier, the film did a business of Rs 12.40 crore on the fourth day (Monday) of the second week, Rs 26.20 crore on the third day (Sunday), 24.80 crore on the second day (Saturday) and Rs 19.15 crore on the first day (Friday). At the same time, before this, the film had earned Rs 97.30 crore in India in 7 days i.e. in the first week. In this sense, the film has done a total business of Rs 190.10 crore in India so far in 12 days.

Trade analysts believe that the film will cross the 200 crore mark in the next 1-2 days. It is mostly seen that in the second week of release, there is a downfall in the collection of films, but this is not happening with ‘The Kashmir Files’. At a cost of about 12 crores, ‘The Kashmir Files’ got only 600 screens across the country on the first day without any big stars. But, later the screen count was increased from 600 to 2000 in the first week considering the audience’s passion for the film. Now it is being told that from the beginning of the second week, the screen count for the film has been increased to 4000.
There is no big star in the film
Apart from Anupam Kher, many actors including Mithun Chakraborty, Darshan Kumar, Pallavi Joshi, Puneet Issar, Mrinal Kulkarni are in the lead role in this film. ‘The Kashmir Files’ depicts the story of Kashmiri Pandits when they were expelled from their own state in the 90s.
