Veteran late actor Rishi Kapoor‘s last film ‘Sharmaji Namkeen’ has been released today (March 31) on the OTT platform Amazon Prime Video. Regarding this film, his son Ranbir Kapoor has given a tribute to his father through a special video. This video has been shared by Ranbir’s mother and Rishi Kapoor’s wife Neetu Kapoor with fans on social media.

Musical tribute given on the song ‘Om Shanti Om’
Neetu Kapoor wrote in the caption of this video, “Lovely tribute to Kapoor sahab. ‘Sharmaji Namkeen’.” In the video, Ranbir can be seen paying tribute to his father Rishi Kapoor by dancing to the evergreen song ‘Om Shanti Om’ from his cult classic music-drama film ‘Karz’ released in 1980. Along with Ranbir, Aamir Khan, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor, Aadar Jain, Vicky Kaushal, Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Kapoor, Tara Sutaria, Ananya Panday and Siddharth Chaturvedi also paid musical tributes to Rishi Kapoor in the video.

Paresh Rawal completes Rishi Kapoor’s film
Apart from late Rishi Kapoor, ‘Sharmaji Namkeen’, directed by Hitesh Bhatia, also stars Paresh Rawal, Juhi Chawla, Suhail Nayyar, Taruk Raina, Satish Kaushik, Sheeba Chadha and Isha Talwar in lead roles. Let us inform that Rishi Kapoor died on 30 April 2020 after half the shooting of this film. After his death, Paresh Rawal played his character and completed the remaining shooting of the film.
