Divya Bharti Death Anniversary: Today is the 29th death anniversary of Bollywood actress Divya Bharti, who became an overnight hit with the song Saat Samundar. Sajid’s wife Wardha Khan once told that the director still kept his ex-wife late actress Divya Bharti’s perfume and hair products. Wardha said that Sajid was very close to Divya and her family. Divya married film producer and director Sajid Nadiadwala at the age of 18. Divya died on April 5, 1993, after 11 months of marriage.

Sajid is very close to Divya’s family
Wardha had said during the conversation in the interview that, “Sajid is very close to Divya’s family. He takes care of Divya’s mother like a son after her mother’s death. You can’t even imagine how close dad and Sajid are.” And Kunal is like a brother. I never tried to replace Divya, I made my own place. She is a part of my life and memories are always beautiful, so stop trolling me sometimes. People say Divya was very nice, of course she was very nice. We love her very much and she is an important part of my life.”

Wardha then wrote on social media, “Sajid still has Divya’s last touched perfume, hair products and a few items. She was a part of Sajid’s debut film (Kick) Saat Samundar.”

Wardha wrote in another post, “Yes I think she played an important role in bringing us together I met #SajidNadiadwala for an interview on his 1st anniversary. Sajid, Divya’s father and my in-laws are often me. It is said that she was just like me, the same temperament, the same madness and behavior.”

The actress died from the fifth floor
Divya’s death was due to falling from the balcony of the fifth floor of her house in Mumbai. Sajid married Wardha Khan in November 2000, several years after the actress’s death, the couple has two sons.
